I am pleased to recognize the latest achievement of The Luca John Foundation to implement a local chapter of support network at Seattle Children’s Hospital.
The Seattle Children’s Hospital is fast becoming the premier skeletal dysplasia institution in the northwest. Through the Luca John Foundation chapter, the hospital will now be able to provide first-rate support for children and families who are affected by this devastating disease.
Skeletal dysplasia diagnosis can be an overwhelming event and the challenges presented through this illness are unique. The Foundation’s support, assistance, efforts to spread education, and offer hope to countless families, increase the quality of life for children living with all forms of this rare disease.
